FIRST SAFERPLAY SEMINAR ‘ON THE CHALLENGE OF PLAY, SAFETY AND RISKS IN THE PUBLIC SPACES INTENDED FOR CHILDREN’

The first Multiplier Event (E1) on the European project SAFERPLAY was held last November 15 at the National Gallery Fair Trade Palace in Prague, Czech Republic. This event was aimed at outlining the new, open and free online training that is being developed within the framework of the SAFERPLAY project among students, public administration, company personnel, graduates and job seekers. The meeting also highlighted the advantages of this online tool for improving the capabilities of organizations involved in the safety and the design of spaces of play. Read more

THIRD SAFERPLAY PROJECT MONITORING MEETING

The third follow-up meeting of the SAFERPLAY project was held on 14 and 16 November at the University of Prague’s Faculty of Architecture (CTU). The purpose of the meeting was to continue the development of educational materials, by defining competency lessons and user profiles, itineraries to be followed by the different users according to their needs, as well as content for each lesson including videos, tests, reading material and activities to develop. All this contributes to the training materials for the SAFERPLAY Open Course.

Workshop “Challenging play, safety and risks in public spaces for children”

Second meeting of project SAFERPLAY in Lisbon

Last March, the second transnational meeting SAFERPLAY “Innovative training on design, installation and maintenance of safe and challenging play areas”, was held in Lisbon; its main target was to develop the contents that was part of the open on-line course of the project with the collaborating partners and AIJU as coordinator.

Workshop. Progress in the project

Kick-off meeting of the project

The first meeting of project SAFERPLAY was held at the Technological Institute for children’s product and leisure (AIJU), in Ibi, Alicante. The meeting took place last January 13, the group of partners involved met for the first time and discussed the structure of project, responsibilities of each partner, deadlines, timetable, budget and transnational meetings throughout the project. As well as the contents of the project, the methodology to use and general aspects of the project.
