The project SAFERPLAY will be presented on 3, 4 and 5 May in Lisbon, within the international conference “Landscape and Life”, that will focus on the relationship between outdoor spaces and quality of life, within their different stages. The conference aims to explore ways in which those who plan and design the environment can meet and improve the needs, comfort and well-being of adults, children, seniors and people with special needs through the environment around them.
Professionals from a range of disciplines will share their research and experience with the aim of creating a forum for discussion among outdoor designers, architects, urban planners, landscape architects, academics from other relevant disciplines, policy makers and institutions. They will share best practices to protect the welfare of citizens and improve their quality of life.
SAFERPLAY will be presented as what it is, a training in the design, installation and maintenance of safe and challenging play areas, through an innovative technique such as open and free courses (BOC). The child and his environment is one of the contents of the SAFERPLAY project. Planning in the design of play spaces, where the environment that surrounds us is one of the most important factors, is fundamental because with good planning can meet needs, improve the environment and make it more safe and challenging for any child.
If you want to know more about our contents and expand your knowledge in design, installation and maintenance of play areas, do not hesitate to pre-registration in the course and join our SAFERPLAY Community.
