The project SAFERPLAY will be presented on 3, 4 and 5 May in Lisbon, within the international conference “Landscape and Life”, that will focus on the relationship between outdoor spaces and quality of life, within their different stages. The conference aims to explore ways in which those who plan and design the environment can meet and improve the needs, comfort and well-being of adults, children, seniors and people with special needs through the environment around them.
Playworkers, architects, landscapers, researchers, teachers and other professionals gathered in the second event of the SAFERPLAY project, which was held last March in Eastbourne (UK). Nicola Butler, president of PLAY ENGLAND and member of the SAFERPLAY consortium, gave way to different talks.
Next March 8, will take place in Eastbourne (United Kingdom) The second Workshop of SAFERPLAY “Innovative training on design, installation and maintenance of safer and challenging play areas” under a European-funded project of the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme.
The first Multiplier Event (E1) on the European project SAFERPLAY was held last November 15 at the National Gallery Fair Trade Palace in Prague, Czech Republic. This event was aimed at outlining the new, open and free online training that is being developed within the framework of the SAFERPLAY project among students, public administration, company personnel, graduates and job seekers. The third follow-up meeting of the SAFERPLAY project was held on 14 and 16 November at the University of Prague’s Faculty of Architecture (CTU). The purpose of the meeting was to continue the development of educational materials, by defining competency lessons and user profiles, itineraries to be followed by the different users according to their needs, as well as content for each lesson including videos, tests, reading material and activities to develop. All this contributes to the training materials for the SAFERPLAY Open Course.

No passado mês de Março realizou-se em Lisboa a segunda reunião internacional do projecto SAFERPLAY “Innovative training on design, installation and maintenance of safe and challenging play areas”, cujo objectivo foi continuar a desenvolver os conteúdos que farão parte do curso online aberto do projecto com os parceiros colaboradores e a AIJU, como coordenadora.
Este grupo de trabalho do SAFERPLAY realizou-se no passado dia 14 de Janeiro na Universidade de Alicante. O objectivo era iniciar o projecto no que se refere aos conteúdos do mesmo. Foram concretizadas as vias TIC de trabalho e comunicação entre os parceiros, descreveu-se o perfil dos utilizadores, estabeleceram-se as competências a ter em conta em função das necessidades dos perfis dos utilizadores definidos, e obtiveram-se também algumas ideias para os conteúdos do SAFERPLAY Open Course. A reunião inicial do projecto SAFERPLAY realizou-se no Instituto Tecnológico de Produtos Infantis e de Lazer (AIJU), Ibi, Alicante. A reunião teve lugar no passado dia 13 de Janeiro. O grupo de parceiros envolvidos encontrou-se pela primeira vez e debateu a estrutura do projecto, as responsabilidades de cada um dos parceiros, prazos, cronograma, financiamento e reuniões internacionais ao longo do projecto, metodologia a utilizar e aspectos gerais do mesmo.
