On February 15th European experts debated (on February 15th) about the safety of (the) play areas in a conference (under the title) entitled “Present and future in the design of safe and challenging play areas” in the facilities of the Technological Institute – AIJU.
Last February 14, the last meeting of the SAFERPLAY project took place at the facilities of AIJU, Ibi (Alicante). During the meeting, a summary of all the project execution was presented, both technical and financial. In addition, the University of Alicante, presented to all the project partners the product created, our platform SAFERPLAY Open Course which will be open shortly after completing the pilot test with users of various profiles and each of the participating countries of the project, who have shown themselves interested in being the first validators of the course.
On 8 and 9 November the penultimate meeting of the SAFERPLAY project took place in Vinkovci (Croatia), city where Hrast is one of the project partners.
Within the project “SAFERPLAY – Innovative training on design, installation and maintenance of safe and challenging play areas” Vukovar-Srijem County Development Agency Hrast Ltd partner and an organizer of the event, held a free workshop on 9/11/2017 at the Hotel Villa Lenije on the use of wood as a material for equipping playgrounds. This topic is part of the contents of the SAFERPLAY course.
AIJU presented the SAFERPLAY project at the fourth European Conference on Injury Prevention and Security Promotion, held in Amsterdam on September 21 and 22.
The first public event of the European SAFERPLAY project was held on November 15 at the “National Gallery Fair Trade Palace” in Prague, Czech Republic.
Last June, the fifth meeting SAFERPLAY monitoring project at the headquarters of INSTITUT FÜR LEBENSLANGES LERNEN DER FORTIS-FAKULTAS GMBH (ILLL) in Chemnitz (Germany), one of the project partners took place.
